Molly Onken Owner Happy Dog country Clips and Kennels

Hello! My name is Molly Onken, and I am the owner of Happy Dog Country Clips and Kennels in Round Lake, MN.

The idea for Happy Dog Country Clips and Kennels was first realized in part because I had nowhere to take my precious babies where I thought were appropriate and what they would feel most comfortable at. I first started the Clips portion of the business in the basement of my home because I was tired of seeing neglected farm dogs, so I began taking on local dogs that other grooming businesses refused to take. I then began to groom with more specialized needs in mind, such as fancy hair cuts for Poodles, Bichons, and Shih Tzu’s, etc.

We have used Happy Dog Kennels for so many years I can’t remember when we started boarding our dogs with Molly. I’m very impressed with Molly and how CLEAN she keeps everything, and I like the temperature controlled environment she has for them. I also love that she allows some reasonable early and/or late hours for drop off and pick up (not limited to 9:00 am – 5:00 pm like a vet clinic). We leave our dogs with her almost every year, sometimes twice a year, and never have to worry about our dogs. And she doesn’t mind us calling to check on how our dogs are doing. Thank you Molly!
